Anyone who thought the rebuilding Padres could resurrect their talks with alltime saves leader Trevor Hoffman after they rescinded their $4-million offer to him -- are you listening Padres president Sandy Alderson? -- should pay attention to what Hoffman's agent, Jeff Borris, just told SI.com.
"Hell's Bells will ring no more in Petco Park,'' Borris said, referring to the AC/DC song that's played whenever the legendary closer entered a Padres home game.

Borris?
Does he work with Rick Thurman? Thurman had been the point man for Trevor thus far, I thought.

Answering my own question
Both work at BHSC. But I still find it weird that after two weeks of Thurman, we get Borris.

Maybe Thurman has mysteriously disappeared?

He should finish his hall-of-fame carreer as a Padre. If he doesn’t, he might sign with the Indians or Dodgers.
