Steve Finley getting a divorce and selling house for $21.5M

Finleys asking $21.5 million for beach house

"We're still good friends, and we're still working together on projects," she said.

Finley_mediumImagine that. Getting divorced and remaining friends, so that you don't ruin your business and piss off the customers.

I know that John Moores had a man crush on Finley, I wonder if that played in part in the Finley divorce.  They can finally be together or go bird dog chicks together.

You know something, I didn't care about the reasons of the Moores' divorce, I figured it was personal, but now that it is causing the destruction of my team I'm starting to take it personally.  What did John do?  I don't think you fight this much if you just grew apart.

How sad. Seems like everyone's getting a divorce

Life always goes on...even if you don't want it to

Baseball related question

I’ve heard rumors/whispers/whatever about the Padres needing to basically cut their payroll in half to around $40 million in 2009.

Now, I’m not entirely sure whom you got playing where and whether or not you really want them there in the immediate future… but with Hoffman gone and Giles getting his option picked up so the Padres can trade him, shouldn’t SD have enough room in the budget to hold on to Peavy for at least 1 more season? Cots says he’ll earn $11 million next year, with another $7.5 million tied up in Adrian Gonzalez and Chris Young it looks to me that if you can get rid of Khalil Greene’s contract you should be able to end up under budget.

Or am I wrong?

Are you suggesting

that the Padres don’t have to trade Peavy? That it would be okay to keep one of the top pitchers (signed at a very reasonable contract) in the game?

That, my friend, is crazy talk.

It's another woman

That is the reason for the divorce of John and Becky Moores. Cliche, but true.

Yeah I figured

strange that they’ve been able to keep that quiet. Until now!
