Could Rick Sutcliffe be replacing Joe Morgan?
Rumors are going around that Rick Sutcliffe might be replacing Joe Morgan for the Sunday Night Baseball gig. We're obviously big fans of Rick Sutcliffe, and pairing the Red Baron with Jon Miller would make for good times Sunday Night.
At the same time though, I personally enjoy Joe Morgan rambling on and on crazily about how he could kick Billy Beane's ass and how Pete Rose is the best player in the history of baseball.

Joe Morgan
Is insufferable as an announcer.

I'd love to know what the ratio is between
your comments that are deleted versus your comments that actually stay posted.

I'm happy to say my CD/CSP stats are quite high
However, I’ve been slumping in the number of my comments that elicit warnings from the admins versus those that don’t (CEW/CDEW). A lot of people are saying I’ve lost my edge, but others chalk it up to an increasing tolerance among the top brass, bordering on complaisance.

Joe Morgan can't open his eyes
and Rick Sutcliffe will probably have been on the golf course all day.
At least we won’t hear about scrappy ballplayers.
Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?

Breaking up the team
of Jon Miller and Joe Morgan would be an absolute travesty. They have been covering great baseball games as a team for years. Miller has the calming intelligence coupled with the professionalism of a broadcast journalist. Morgan has the crazed rumblings of an over-the-hill baseball player. This is a winning team. Its like John Madden and Al Michaels.
And you know this Dex.
