A Center Fielder? Really?
With the surprising emergence of Gerut and Venable, do we really need to target a Center Fielder in a trade? I’d think that is one of the few positions where we’re probably okay.

I agree, we don’t really need another outfielder.
That’s about the only way I’m gonna give up Peavy.
I’m starting to accept that Peavy may go, but unless we get at least 2 QUALITY major league players, this deal will suck. If I could watch 2 exciting young players in place of Peavy, I guess it could be worth it.
I still think they shouldn’t trade him unless someone is willing to send the whole farm over.
