New Coaches
According to Sign On San Diego, the Padres have "all but decideed" on Jim Lefebvre as the new hitting coach. Jim currently is a minor league hitting consultant for Grady Fuson and the coach for the Chinese olympic and national baseball team.
Also, Ted Simmons will be the new bench coach to replace that bastard Colbert. Simmons was the Brewers' bench coach under manager Ned Yost, until he inexplicably got fired toward the end of the regular season.

Dear Aztec,
Thanks for the insightful update. I’m positive that these new coaches have read the 143 page manual and will never underestimate the authority of Sandy Alderson. However, I am concerned with the whereabouts of one Mr. Craig Colbert… Have you heard anything about his situation? I can only imagine what that scheming devil has planned for the Padres next…He’s probably out selling Harry’s strategies and “secrets to the game” to the highest bidders. Keep us in the loop, my friend.
Sincerely,
The Kipper
