I think this sucks.

If a guy has an opportunity to go to another club at a higher level position, he should be allowed to pursuit it.

The Padres should either have a rule where they let everone be available or say that everyone is off-limits.

It sends the wrong message when they let certain people interview for positions while denying others an opportunity.
