On a bit of a side note, my first exposure to Matty V was during his first gig in the early 90s when he did radio for the Huntington Cubs. I remember being a little kid thinking "This guy's way better than Brennaman and Nuxhall!"...

this was so funny

The chemistry between matt and mud has always been great even from the start. I forgot how much I love the channel 4 broadcast and how i cant wait to hear matt and mark back in the booth together.

Mark: "thats where the new ballpark will be"
Matt:"i can see it now, Nevin hits one deep to center and we have a new all time home run champion"

thought that was kinda ironic considering Matt was there to see Bonds tie the all time home run mark at Petco.

i seriously will miss matt when he leaves, he is getting too big for SD now, it shouldnt be too long...
