Matty V makes TMZ

So, My wife is addicted to gossip columns.  I guess everyone needs a vice, and since she has rights to the Padres season tickets I will give her a free pass (that and passing a human being out of her body).  Luckily I don't have any vices outside of drinking, gambling, sports, and internet blogs that make fun of people.  But as Maggie O'Toole would say "I digressed".

So Matty V was doing play-by-play for the Fiesta Bowl, when 92 and 93 for WVU (TTG in the house?) where siting next to each other on the sidelines.

This is safe for work.

He pointed out to the world
what us Mountaineer fans have been snickering about for quite some time...

I started writing a post about Matty V's spectacular performance last night over at padsandends- mostly just to get an argument out of imissbip/ craigshipleywalkoff/ thepadfather- but that's more awfulannouncing 's department. They did leave off my favorite Vasgersian quote from last night: "From Wheeling to White Sulphur Springs, all of West Virginia is ready to celebrate!" The guy really knows his WV geography- and well he should, since his first gig was doing games for the now-defunct Huntington Cubs (I remember listening to him on the radio)...

Also, most WVU fans may have no idea who Matt Vasgersian is, but no one will ever forget him calling living legend and cult hero Owen Schmitt "a runaway beer truck" as he lumbered into the endzone in his final game.
