Looking for Padres Fans feedback...

Hey GLB'ers,

I apologize in advance if posting a Diary is not the proper forum for this. On today's LA Times Dodgers Blog, they started a thread where they discussed they increasingly hostle atmosphere that is occuring at Dodger Stadium these days, especially for opposing teams' fans. I know a couple of Gaslampballerz have expressed here their uncomfortable trips to Dodger Stadium, and I'd like to invite you guys to check out the blog and comment on your negative times there. Please be tasteful over there, but if the LA Times really wants to have an honest discussion about the situation, visiting fans need to come and share their opinions, too. I will certainly stop by

and add my experiences. I was actually quite disgusted with the way I was treated there last year and have pledged to never go back.

It's wierd too, because I went to a game in 06 and it was fine. But I went to two games in April last year and it was just awful.

I read your comments over there, and you did a nice job. Of the 3 comments posted by Padres fans there, your's was the one that was articulate, objective, and able to get the point across without being insulting. Like I said, if the LA Times wanted to have an honest discussion about the security situation there, then all fans needed to have a say. Thanks again!
