Clay Buchholz
Kid is making his second start in the bigs tonight...and has a no-no going through eight. That's crazy.

I hear
his blood smells like cologne. Hold up; I'll be back in a second- I'm gonna see if this Clay Buttholes kid gives up any hits.

Fashion Police:
He should get a t-shirt made that says "Blow Me, Selig" and wear that under his pullover until they mess with him again. How bad could the fine be?

One bad thing about football season starting up:
Seems like we only get Matty V. for a few games a week. Nothing against Quis...but it's just not the same.

Horrible number
Pierre has one more steal that all the Padres combined?!?

Not that this is really surprising.  I think Black is personally opposed to a running game.  That, and our guys are pretty slow.  LOL.

Rockies...
Hard to rip them...they gave us a nice gift last night.

by Drama on Sep 1, 2007 8:10 PM PDT up reply actions

I actually like the Rockies
as the poor underdogs of the division.  Unlike the Giants, they aren't annoying, just endearing.  Except when we play them, then they must die.

The Dodgers
It's funny how everyone got so excited about them and their pathetic little winning streak. They won four straight...three of them coming against the Nationals...one of the worst teams in baseball. Welcome back to real baseball, Dodgers.

Cameron's Slam
Rewinded the DVR to watch it again, and confirmed what I thought when it happened.....

Cameron's grand slam was on a slider. Makes it that much more impressive, since it's his and K-Bot's kryptonite.

No Trevor tonight,
but today I was reminded that our beloved closer's signature entrance is used by my homestate West Virginia Mountaineers whenever the opposition is faced with a third down. Not to say I give a toss about football; it's just an excuse to drink beer and waste time 'til the Pads play.

Not as much as Canadian entertainment (like Kids in the Hall) but that's where that comes from. Yes, crap like that really is actually part of my day-to-day speech.

Just got back from the game
WHOO it was fun.

During the fireworks, Jake and his entire family came out and watched them.
Then his boys went out into left field and beat each other up with Trevors kids and Jake and his blonde bombshell of a wife literally layed on the grass and talked with an older couple for about ten minutes. They looked so chill. Then Jake got up and laughed with people and signed autographs (including a Dodger hat which the guy later told me Jake wrote GO PADRES on it)..

Ahh fun night!
