Amazing seats!

I wanted to make a nice post here and include all these images and write witty comments the way dex and jbox do, but I simply don't have time so the pictures will have to speak for themselves.

I felt that it was my duty to share an experience at the ballpark that most fans have never had.

On Wednesday night I was lucky enough to sit in the luxury seats just 4 rows back from home plate! My Dad was given a pair of tickets from a colleague he works with. It was absolutely amazing. A once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Wow
I had no idea that such opulence existed in the bowels of Petco. They must have a medical staff on call at all times to treat gout. Love this picture.

Yeah me neither
It really felt pretty strange to have all of that at my disposal. I felt like I should have been the busboy, not the one eating steak.

The seats come with all you can eat/drink and the bar stays open for 1 hour after the game ends. Unfortunately my ID expired 2 weeks ago and because the DMV screwed up my renewal I don't have a new one yet and they wouldn't let me drink.

They have servers that will take your order from your seats too. You can order just about anything that's available at the stadium and they will bring it to you. Everyone working there pretty much bows down to you and sucks your...well you get the idea.

I saw one server holding a menu with a $100 tip sticking out so I must have been sitting amongst the ballers.

Later than night I came home and watched myself on TV in the rebroadcast. Pretty cool, but makes me want to get HD so I could see the details like me picking my nose a little better.

$325!
Holy Crap!  You really would have to eat a lot to get your money's worth.  Man I wish I rolled like that, even the bathrooms look nice.  And I bet they have plenty of paper towels inside.

So Freaking Jealous
I would literally kill for those seats. I mean it. That's amazing!!! If I win the lottery tonite, I'm so buying four of those seats for my family to own.

Great shots. I'd heard great things about the food. I've also hit inside the players' batting cage and you can see into the restaurant from there.

That's pretty damn cool. I would be thrilled if I ever got to sit in those seats.

I'd be happy
to just sit on that couch and eat cookies.

I'd settle
for being back in the same time zone as the padres... As much as I may dislike Cutesy-Cutesy balltime with Matty & Mudcat, I miss Ch.4 HD.

I always miss Matt and Mud when I can't
get them, but I actually look forward to series' like tonite. Not only do I get the game in HD (which only happens when the Dodgers play the Padres), but I also get Vin Scully.

Not anywhere near the same experience
But if you take the Petco tour, they take you through that whole area down there.

No food or baseball or anything, but at about 7 bucks a pop, it's a heck of a lot cheaper.

Wow
I have sat there before. They are amazing. I hope you had such a great time. I would kill to go there again. Best Sushi ever! I saw  Dave Winfield when i was down there.

I am so jealous.
