Dex and jbox asked nicely yesterday if someone might take it upon themselves to start a Daily Link Dump. I'm not promising this is going to be daily, but since I spend far too much time at GLB to begin with, this somehow seems like a way to justify it. Sort of.
And since "Daily Link Dump" is a) already in use by that A's blog; and b) far too easy to make fun of, I decided to call it Smells Like Padres in Here because a) it seems to be right in line with out juvenile humor here at GLB; and b) I couldn't think of anything better. I'm open to suggestions.
(And my HTML sucks, so until I can figure out how to hide those links in those cute little words, all you're getting is the generic link.)
So...
Smells Like Padres in Here - Sunday Edition:
Big, tall Mark Hendrickson is scheduled to start for LA on Tuesday against the Pads, but Jason Schmidt may give it a go.

Cla may have a delivery issue. Gee, we hadn't noticed. Also - some injury notes on Giles Senior and Cheo Junior.

Another Hoffman piece. Might be hard for some of you to read, though, as it's in Canadian.

This guy trashes the Pads' farm system and gives a very tiny preview of what the team may do with all those picks in the upcoming draft.

A Mets fan thinks Omar Minaya goofed in giving up Heath Bell. GLB should probably send Omar a thank you card or something.

And, finally - take a look at this. Adam Eaton? Really?

That's it. That's all you're getting out of me.
