Petition to save Matto619's beard

Hey kids, this is important. We all know that the Padres played great ball in May, finishing the month tied for first. Certainly we can all agree after closing the month with the best comeback of the year, that all this success is due to matto619's beard. No question about it. Germano the new kid looking like Cy Young? Attributed to the beard. Kouz raising his average 120 points? We can thank matto619 for that. Peavey going filthy on everyone who even looks at him? All beard.

So here's where you come in. Matto619 claims he's going to shave it off. Now we all believe in the power of the beard, so let's make sure he knows he can't shave.

El Beardo

It lives on partially. I got it groomed today and I like it a lot. It was definitely time for me to do something about it. Did you guys even see my last pic? I seriously looked like the shoe bomber (line stolen from Knocked Up).

And besides, on the day I got it groomed, the Friars erupt for 11 runs. It's all good!
