not sure how underrated hoffman is, but then again, I've spent most of my life around people who have heard the bells ring in person.

And I'd also like Peavy to remain underrated until we sign him to his next extension. Having him on this list isn't going to help that.

just coming over to post that link. i second the "let's keep JP under the radar til we sign him again" emotion. my stepdad, the lifelong yankees-fan-in-denial, actually melodramatically shouted "PEAVY WILL BE A YANKEE!" at me a couple days ago.
i suppose when they back a dumptruck full of hundreds up to his door, he'll consider the proposition.
