Aaron Miles Bulletin Board Material

Check out the UT wrap from Sunday's game.  Aaron Miles says of Justin Germano, "He's one of those pitchers you hope to face when you come to the yard,".  What's a guy gotta do to get some respect around here?  This is what the Pads need.  A little nastiness!

Think Aaron Miles deserves a fastball to the ear next time around?

Aaron Miles
0-3.

We shouldn't be punishing this guy for wanting to face us and go oh-fer. Aaron Miles is welcome to face Justin Germano any time he wants.

Wow
Miles really isn't one of those outspoken guys.  He's not even a full timer.

Weird hearing that something like that came from a Cardinal...and a bench one at that.

I'm sure it just came out wrong
Though it came out as a thinly veiled insult.

Kind of like Johnny Damon
...when he asked, "Who the hell are the Padres?"  At the time, it was tough to tell whether he was ridiculing or impressed by the relative anonymity of our lineup.

Germano isn't a power pitcher, and his medium-speed fastball didn't dazzle Cardinals hitters.

"This guy's a guy you hope to face every time you come to the yard," said the Cardinals' No. 8 hitter, Aaron Miles. He added, "Tip your cap to him. He threw a good game."

Backhanded compliment for sure....but I think most guys in the majors would prefer to face a rookie pitcher without a good fastball most days.  The Twins/Tigers game on Fox last night looked like a Yankees/Care Bears* game.

*(not an actual baseball team)

I am part of a team within a team. And the MVP of my team is named Kory.
