I was just checking out my DirecTV showcases and was surprised to find a 7 minute tutorial on hitting by none other than Tony The Gwynn. The full video ( 15+min) can be seen here: http://www.sportskool.com/home.jsp#
A few key points for those that don't want to watch:
- Batting gloves shouldn't have wrinkles. Wrinkles create blisters...a hitter's worst enemy.
- Put your weight in the right spot. Or as Gwynn says, "Make sure you feel your behind under you"
- Gwynn shouldn't be wearing a poncho.
