I got Khalil's HR ball!!

It bounced back into the field, and the left fielder Hairston picked it up and started to throw it into the infield, then thought better of it, and tossed it into my section (124 I think), left field deep foul territory, and I came up with it. Was that a run on sentence? I've probably been to 500 ball games in my life, this is my first game used ball. What a great day, highlight of the season so far for the team, and for me.

Man
That's awesome. I've never got a home run ball. The closest I got was one time when Greg Vaughn hit one about 2 rows behind me back at the Q. It was almost rad.

Dex
What about the game where I caught one at the Q?  Funny thing is Jbox and I were just talking about it yesterday.

what about it?
That was you, dude. Just cause you caught a homerun ball don't mean I've caught a homerun ball.

But you were close
You and Jbox ran down a few rows to try and catch it on the fly.  I, knowing you wouldn't catch it stayed in my seat and played the bounce to perfection.

So really
you're just bragging?  That's what this is all about?

way to go

Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

grand slam ball
Trot Nixon hit a grand slam at Camden that I caught in the SRO area in right field (their version of our Right Field Rowdies (Yeah Luigi and Ishmail!))

What is perfect is that the Baseball Gal and my Red Sox dad were there with me.

RBS is owsom!
The best I've ever done is beat my friend to a foul ball at the AAA ballpark in Syracuse that landed in empty seats, which were empty because it was April in Syracuse and no one goes to night games in April in Syracuse (now there's a run-on sentence for ya').

RBS = The Man
I got a Jeff Conine foul ball at the Q...but it bounced once before I got my hands on it. I don't think that counts.

A Padre homerun ball is sweet!

What kind of condition was the ball in?
Did Khalil bash in one side of it?  Are the seams loose?
