Bonds used to be a Padre

I found that out in the first chapter of the book Love Me, Hate Me. His high school baseball team name was the Padres.

Other fun facts in this intriguing book.

  1. Barry's been a bitch since he was born
  2. He's a confirmed mama's boy
  3. When he played football, opposing fans taunted him with chants of "502", the penal code for DWI, which his dad had tons of.
  4. Barry learned to be an ass, partially from Willie Mays
  5. Barry hates pain
More to come...I'm only on chapter 4. But I definitely hate him.

Update [2007-3-21 19:0:52 by thenerdhater]:: Just finished reading some more reasons to hate Barry:

Quote: "I would rather watch my mom put on makeup or put on a wig and dance with her, then spend time with my dad".
Granted, his dad wasn't father of the year...but aren't there some better options?

Barry's coach was driving him and another student home from high school. The car breaks down. Barry refuses to help push. Instead, he stands to the side and tells the coach his car is a piece of crap.

Barry's license plate when he was a freshman at ASU? - BBSTA - Stood for Barry Bond's Trans Am.

I think this book should be renamed, 'How to hate me even more'
