Gaslampball Fantasy Baseball

Has this been pitched before?

Let's start a fantasy baseball league.  I was into fantasy baseball in 2003 and 2004 and I really enjoyed it.  Being in a fantasy league with other baseball fans would be awesome.

Does Gaslampball do a fantasy league?  If so, please invite me!  If not, I was thinking of putting one together through the free MLB.com 2007 OPEN.  Would anybody jump in on that?

I would want a live draft, preferably a few days before opening day.  head to head weekly competition with traditional 5x5 scoring.  The typical stuff for us seamheads.

If anybody is interested drop me an email: sean at scanwebsolutions dot com

Last year
We did a yahoo league but I think people stopped paying attention about a month into the season.  I'm sure people would be interested though.

I was the commish for a league last year where the same thing happened.  Let me know if you start another, I definitely at least keep track of it each morning right when I get to work.

Hey...
Yahoo League.  4x4 roto.  $20/person (70% to 1st place, 30% to 2nd)

Any interest?

Fantasy is GO
I got several emails in addition to the posts here so it looks like we've got significant interest.  For me, the live draft is the fun part.  Personally I prefer head-to-head over roto scoring.  My previous fantasy experience is with Yahoo and I like them enough (even if you have to pay $10 for live scoring).  However, MLB.com is free so I'm strongly considering using them.  And I'm totally open to suggestion on everything from which dot com service to scoring to settings.
Relax, all right? Don't try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, they're fascist. Throw some ground balls - it's more democratic.

ESPN
ESPN now has free live scoring. I believe all their fantasy stuff is free now. They'll make it up in volume.

I like NL only
though if we have a lot of teams, it could be an issue.
