Hi,GLBers! We're just 4 hours away from Christmas here in the East,and I have already have a wish list for GLBers for the 2008 season...here it is!

Adrian Gonzalez hitting 40 homers
Khalil Greene hitting 30 homers and winning a Gold Glove
Jim Edmonds doing well as a Padre
Jake Peavy winning another Cy Young
Trevor Hoffman saving 58 games this season,making him the all-time single season record holder in saves
Jake Peavy striking out 300 batters
The Giles brothers getting clutch hits all the time
The Padres kicking the Yankees' arse all 3 games in the Bronx in June,with A-Rod going hitless in the series,striking out every time
The Padres sweeping all 18 games from the Dodgers,with every game a blowout
The Padres winning the N.L. West by 20 games with a 103-59 record
Adrian Gonzalez as '08 N.L. MVP
The Padres dominating the N.L. Playoffs winning the N.L. pennant in 2008
The Padres sweeping the A.L. champ with the 4th and final game at PETCO
and last,but not least...
The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame winning every game in '08 (losing just once-a 1 point loss to USC) and go on to win the '09 BCS championship game!
Those are my predictions for '08,let's make this 40th anniversary season the best ever for the Padres! It's been great being a part of GLB in '07,and it'll be great in '08 and forever! Go Padres! Experience the holidays! Happy Christmas,everyone...and God bless one and all!
