The Steroid Social Network or Why you should buy steroids through Paul Lo Duca

Here's a fun chart for those of you not completely sick of the Mitchell Report. It graphically demonstrates how closely linked people were to Kirk Radomski aka Murdock aka "Tony Soprano". My favorite part is how it breaks up the lesser "captains" if you will, complete with "crews". David Segui and Paul Lo Duca have the largest crews, and Lo Duca's crew (circa Steroid Era) would have smoked Segui's crew... After injecting each other in the buttocks.

The Thing I notice
was how many of the people we know use steroids (or have a 90% educated guess) are not connected at all to this network.  Which shows that there could be many networks like this.  Or the fact that one of these networks existed, it caused other players to go on their own to compete with the users.

Not connected;
Bonds, Giambi, Alex Sanchez, Clay Hensley, Caminitti, Canseco

Who would win....
In a steel cage tag team match between Nook Logan and Rondell White Vs GlenAllen Hill and Mo Vaughn...Logan and White get to use steel chairs and cookie sheets...

(yes, i watched wrestling for 10 years at one point in my childhood)

...and we're STILL waiting for MATT HOLLIDAY to touch the plate.

Great Diagram
That's a great diagram, a source of hours of fun.

Since these guys were adults, and it's incredibly easy to buy steroids or HGH, isn't it safe to assume that most users just did what everyone else does, and walked into a local gym or "alternative" nutrition store with a wad of cash? There's no reason to assume they had to buy from some "connection" who was inside baseball. Drugs are drugs.

They had no need to even use their real names. I think the Mitchell Report really only nailed the most stupid of the bunch, like those who wrote personal checks for the stuff. How dumb can you be?
