Wow.
That's the first time I've been able to laugh since it happened. This picture is the equivilant to me what the first episode of SNL after 9/11 was to so many people. Thank you.

Does this mean
we get to pull our promising players out of Portland? God knows what a quagmire that place has been.

by Phantom on Oct 3, 2007 2:35 PM PDT reply actions

No KT is going to to pull players
from all the other clubs to win that league championship, no matter how much it costs or damages our hope for a postseason next year.  If there wasn't granola there, we wouldn't care.

Kevin Towers
or Drunk-on Powers?

Ok, so there's not really a great way to mimick KT's name a la MoveOn, but you get the point.

BTW, lest this be misunderstood, this is in no way an indictment of the MoveOn ad.

That appeared in a newspaper.

We could call him
the General Mangler, the General Damager, the General Maniacal-ager...If we just switched breakfast cereal, we wouldn't have to send our boys over there...

While it's true
that we need to reduce our dependency on foreign cereal, corn flakes are little better, and essentially only a cleverly disguised subsidy to Midwestern farmers, rather than a long-term solution.

+1 to
both of you. Nice work sirs.

its all a conspiracy
and now the stupid ethanol boom is causing barley and hops farmers to forego that crop for the more profitable corn.

Now our beer is going to be EXPENSIVE!  We need to reduce our dependancy on craft beers and start consuming the more eco friendly water beers like Miller and Coors light.

We must destroy the evil beer empire...
Let's send our boys to Milwaukee...oh we already did that and it didn't go so well.  Let's increase the roster to 90 and try it again.

"i kinda feel like nevin and klesko were some fling we (the padres) had in the past and now realize were a bad idea and are embarrassed about."
