Matty V sighting (on TV)

So I was watching the NFL Network to see if I could watch highlights of LT carving up Oakland....AGAIN...when they show highlights of the Jets game...blah blah....throwback unis...whatever...and in the background I hear a familar voice...it gets a bit excited, and I think to myself "Why that sounds like the golden throat of Matty V!" I listen some more and I am 99% sure it was him!

I knew this guy was super utility color guy of the universe, but now he does NFL games??? Matt can OFFICALLY do everything. Blackjack, NFL, College everything, padres, etc. etc.

WE NEED TO KEEP MATTY IN SD!!!!! MARK AND MATT ARE THE BEST COMBO IN BASEBALL!!!

GOODNITE....NOW!!!!!!!!!

He's been working for Fox
For the last few years doing football games...that's why he didn't call any Padres games between Thursday-Sunday once football season started, as he had to go do player interviews/game prep for his NFL gig. He usually works the D or E game, code for "the worst game Fox is broadcasting that week." Unfortunately, that means we in SD rarely get to hear him work an NFL game, as our affiliate will almost always pick up the marquee matchup in that timeslot.

You can always catch him doing
the hot dog eating contest.  Come back Matty.  Before I jam two sharpies in my ears to stop the pain.

Why
Why did my comment get removed?
The Pads are my third favorite team behind the SF Giants and anyone playing the Dodgers.
