I am using the 2007 ZIPS projections to simulate various head to head matchups.  I am running each matchup 2500 times to bring the margin of error down to 0.010 in the expected winning percentage.  The simulation itself is quite complicated and I am using it to compare teams in the NL West to each other.  I run twenty-five head to head matchups and have just finished running the Padres vs the Giants.  The Padres fared quite well against the Giants.  In an earlier series of simulations the Dodgers handled the Rockies quite well.  Things will get more interesting when the Padres face the Diamondbacks and the Dodgers.  Feel free to take a look at some of the results.
