Photos: 9/23 - Save No. 478
Tonight was just amazing. I just moved to San Diego from the Bay Area. I'm really a die-hard Oakland A's fan, but I'm really starting to love the Padres. There's just something about this team.
I had been to a couple of games at Petco, but until tonight, had never seen Trevor Hoffman pitch live. I knew about Hells Bells and have gotten goosebumps just seeing his entrance on TV. I was excited to see it first-hand.
This is also my first game with my (crappy) new camera. By next season, I plan on having a shiny new SLR camera, so I can provide you fine folks with much better pictures than what I got tonight. I used to post my pictures on Athletics Nation, the A's SB Nation site, and I apologize as these are nowhere near the quality of those photos, but I still hope you enjoy them!
I look forward to seeing more Padres games and contributing what I can to this community!

Trevor's sign... just waiting to be turned

I really think SD's bullpen is cool. I loved being able to watch Peavy warm up from above. I'm gonna have to get a big group together someday to get those cool picnic seats right by the 'pen.
Crappy Peavy warmup shots:

My camera is obviously not great at night time.

My favorite Padre, Cla Meredith. Or I guess I should say... my favorite Padr, Cla Meredith.

Other relievers
Wasn't able to take any good pics OF the game, but...

It's TREVOR TIME!

The Friar anxiously awaits the final out.

TREVOR TIME
I will pay for a DVD if anyone recorded the game on their Tivo, if they have the know-how, and can burn a DVD copy for me. I'll pay for postage...whatever. The game wasn't on TV in Los Angeles.
Of course.
The ESPN game of the week? St. Louis at Houston.
Whoo. Pee.
ESPN played the highlights after the highlights of the Marlins-Phillies game. After all, all-time save record is an after-thought to an East Coast team in the wild card hunt.
I'm happy that a lot of you made it to the game. The MLB website as a little video package and photo galleries with Trevor sportin' some sweet pélo from back in the day.
