Reminding me of the video clip of Dex running around the bat and then trying to run to first....

I saw that same contest at the River City Rascals game this weekend, but it was between 2 kids.  One kid cheated by going around really slowly and moving his head to keep from getting dizzy.  While the other kid finished spinning first, he couldn't stay on his feet long enough to get to the finish line.  The cheater coasted in for a victory.

They also did a water balloon toss contest (which I woulda won if I coulda played)...and the Rascal's mascot cheated by sneaking in and slamming balloons on one of the dudes.

MLB needs more of these antics.

Is this what the Padres are spending their money on? We can't get a third baseman but we can get  third rate mascot antics on the field. Ugh.
