Printi just heard buster olney on ESPN say the red sox are pursuing a multi-team deal that could get them scott linebrink. olney said "3 or 4 teams" would be involved.
anyone else hear this? unless the deal gives them a major-league power hitter or a top-flight pitcher/prospect, there's no damn reason to trade scotty. is he in his last year or something?
