Around SBN: Ray Allen Fighting Age, Injury And His New Role

Reasons why the Hoffman blown save isn't a bad thing

  1. Trevor's going to blow one or two saves in a year. This counts as one of them.

  2. Padres home record: 23-24. Padres away record: 25-16.

  3. If the Padres don't make it to the World Series, we seriously don't care if the National League loses it. We're Padres fans, not National League fans. What, like we're gonna care if St. Louis doesn't get homefield advantage? If the Mets don't? The MLB will be thanking us for keeping homefield advantage away from the rat trap that is Shea Stadium.
