Many things are becoming apparent in the sporting world lately. Primarily, these people are not real smart. So here's a little poll for you all. Feel free to add your own entries. Some of the most stupidest moments in Pads history? I recall a certain catcher who now plays in the Astros system tripping over the mound while throwing home. Pretty much any time Ruben Rivera was on the basepaths. Jim Leyritz's comments about TGwynn on his way out of town were pretty stupid.

i voted michelle

simply because the girl has so much press for not really doing anything. Granted it doesn't match stupidest player in sports poll but I haven't had a venue to vent that so there.

now if you want to give props to a female breaking the male dominated sport world, give props to Danica Patrick. Now she hasn't actually won a race, but props to a girl who is good at a sport where the only thing seperating you from instant death is a helmet and a well engineered go cart.
