the last thing i'll say

til next season. though we lost, the pads had a great season. they played some great ball, some not-so-great ball, and some inspired ball. i laughed, i cried, blah blah blah. and i did most of it here on GSB.
so thanks, gaslampball, dex, jbox, and all you kickass commenters, for a fun season. i'll miss ya til next summer.

I had so much fun as a Padre fan this season.

Not only because we did have a great season, but also cause i found GSB. There arent too many Padres fans in Colorado, so it was always great to come here and talk about the Padres with fellow fans. Hopefully we go out now and get some offense this off season.

Good times

Great fun at the ballpark and on the internets this year. Thanks to everybody who commented, it made the season much more enjoyable.

We'll still be posting throughout the post season, so feel free to check back. We'll probably have to stretch to make it baseball related at times, but what are ya gonna do?

i said it was the last thing i'll say, but how would it be right if i said something and it wasn't somehow insane?

karl ravech just said on sportscenter that it was "Fitting" that the two NL West teams were ousted from the playoffs. I say it would be "fitting" if karl ravech were shot into the sun. douchebag. i bet he picked the yankees in a clean sweep. fuck you karl ravech.

that it was fitting because in this year of National League mediocrity it was fitting that the NL's best division didn't have a representative in the NLCS.

Naaaaaaa. Karl Ravech isn't smart enough to realize that the West was way the hell better than the Central this year and probably better than the East as well. Karl Ravech probably isn't smart enough to realize that 162 games are a better measurement of a team's ability than 3 or 4 postseason games.
