Fantasy Football?

Good people of Gaslamp Ball (and Dex too) -

We over at FishStripes started up a fantasy football league (found here), but (as we're mostly a baseball crew) we haven't found a lot of participants.

If you'd like to join, please sign up. We haven't figured out the details of when the draft will be. It will depend on when the league is filled.

This will help to answer the age old question of whether Padres fans or Marlins fans are more expert at fantasy football.

Also, just to be more sporting about it, we FishStripers have agreed to not take any Dolphins if you Gaslamp Ballers agree to stay away from Chargers. That sounds fair, right?

We're trying to figure that out right now

we have a diary over at fishstripes to figure it out. We were going to have a draft tonight, but I don't think that will work. I have a feeling it will be automated. Frankly - we have no freaking clue. We still need one more person, too...

Draft and scoring

The draft is done. Check out and set your lineup prior to Thursday (opening night). Also, if you have a preference for point based scoring or head-to-head matchups, vote in this diary (so far the point based system is winning). We can change the scoring system until Thursday.

My kicker I'm hanging onto. Longwell.

I'm running with two defenses: New England and Minnesota. The deal on the table is Bennet and Chris Chambers for Johnson. If you can do better than that then I'd be surprised. What am I missing with this Johnson character?
