Open Thread: Pads vs. Indians 6/9

Revenge will be ours today. Hopefully. Game starts at 12:35. Nerdhater just offered me a ticket, but I don't think I'll be able to go cuz of work.

It's drizzling a little outside right now and it's cloudy. Powerful cloudy.

Hey Garth, I was in the kitchen and I heard a coaster commercial. I ran over to the TV and saw a quick shot of fans getting off the train. It was real short like 10 seconds? I didn't see Dex or Jonny.

You may have heard me on the "Out in Left Field" last night. I tried to call in to talk to Geoff from Ducksnorts, but he left before they put me on. I ended up asking a dumb question to Troy though. Geoff did a good job.

The skinny: Eaton is second in the NL in wins, Westbrook leads the major leagues in losses. Eaton is 5-0 with a 2.87 ERA at Petco Park, Westbrook is 1-5 on the road with a 6.29 ERA. Eaton last year won his ninth game on Aug. 26. Padres are 10-2 in his 12 starts. Westbrook ranked third in the AL in ERA last year with a 3.38 mark. This season the Indians have scored only 29 runs in Westbrook's 11 starts. Eaton is 0-1 vs. Cleveland with a 3.38 ERA, Westbrook is 1-0 against the Padres.

In conclusion, it feels a lot like April. The Pads aren't scoring or winning and it's raining. Does anybody miss Dex? It's just me all week, holding down the fort.
