Concessions Cap

Taken from the UT's online poll.  Pretty typical, but the lowering concessions prices caught my eye and made me think.  Can MLB really put a concessions cap on Nachos and Beer prices?

Don't know about you but I might not care too much about the Padres not scoring next year if my beer and nachos were, say, 10 bucks cheaper.

Baseball teams as public entities
I wonder how the Padres would change their pricing and payroll if it was public knowledge exactly how much they made and spent. I've gotta believe that we can get hot dogs under $2. I mean, they're 50 cents at IKEA. You're telling me we can't meet a bunch of Scandinavian furniture makers halfway on hot dogs?

We need to take hot dogs back from the Scandanavians.

I'd rather
have a cap on ticket prices.  That controls your entry to the game.  I can always elect not to eat or drink during the game and control my spending.

Notch yo's
Yeah but nothing can stop when I see the nachos on display.  No matter if its an extra $50 for jalapenos, I will be eating nachos.

Not me
I'm allergic to all things dairy.  You couldn't pay me $50 to eat a single Nacho with cheese.

What do you call cheese that doesn't belong to you?
